WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a club president, you have a great opportunity to encourage your club to participate in and attend the annual District Conference. Several aspects of conference are meant to honor you and recognize your year of leadership, including the parade of dignitaries and annual awards ceremonies.
Here are some ways that you can encourage your members to join us...

Be Informed
Utilize the pages on this site that are all about conference, including Conference FAQ's, so you can speak to what's new and how to sign up for this year's event.
Download helpful information like the Conference Pamphlet to have available at your regular meetings.
Print a couple copies of the paper form of our Conference Registration for those that wish to register offline.
And email your whole club the link to our conference page so they can register online:

Be Prepared
We are asking that clubs work on more dynamic displays for the House of Friendship. You will want to get started on that right away so you can create something memorable to set up in the space. Is there a member of your club that would step up to help create and set up this feature? It should highlight the top service project or program that you club did this past year.
The first step is to submit a House of Friendship Registration form by the April 1st deadline.
You can get inspiration on how to make your display awesome on our House of Friendship Help page!

You will also want to be sure and review all the opportunities to nominate your club and a member for the annual awards!
Click here for more information and to download award applications

You will also need to bring:
-a door prize valued at $50 or more
-snacks for the House of Friendship

Be There
We hope you will be able to join us so we can celebrate your commitment to Service Above Self. If you cannot make it, have you asked a fellow club member to represent you in the parade of dignitaries? Do you have someone to represent you in the annual business meeting to vote on the updated district bylaws?
